I was honestly shocked because that complimentary hot water is what kept me coming back to Starbucks for over a decade, steering clear of their competitors. Fun fact: drinking hot water can actually help you feel full, which is great if you're watching your weight. Plus, we all know water is the key to life! Despite all the chatter about Starbucks' policies—whether true or not—I never let that sway me. And even when I saw a partner tossing all the cookies, tarts, and cake pops into the trash I didn’t say a word, even though I thought about how that food could’ve helped someone in need. On a brighter note I have to give a shoutout to their baristas, or "partners," who are always super nice friendly. Plus, the access to Wi-Fi the chance to settle in with your laptop is a definite perk. And honestly, can anyone deny that their coffee is fantastic? So, what do you think? I used to rave about Starbucks! If I had an event, they were always my first choice for gift cards as prizes. I even gifted them to my son and his friends just because. The ability to grab a cup of water whenever I wanted was a huge reason I kept going back.
